Hexbeam Photo Gallery

This gallery shows photographs of the various HexBeam antennas I have constructed over the past couple of years. It is not meant to be a step-by-step guide to construction, but rather a potpourri of techniques which may give you some ideas for constructing your own HexBeam.

I used the same arrangement for fixing the spreaders as on the Mk 1. Four plastic tie-wraps hold the spreader to some aluminium angle which is bolted to the baseplate. Even this arrangement can easily crush the spreaders, so on my later designs I support the spreaders in aluminium tubes.
